Light Up the Morning with The Chief’s Bloody Mary Recipe

This has been a Lot 13 tailgate favorite for years and is a great early morning drink. It goes great with a cold Happy Valley morning. For those who don’t like spicy foods, don’t worry. This bloody mary recipe is actually quite mild, despite the ingredients. There is just enough flavor to wake up your taste buds, but not so much that you breathe flames all day!

Ingredients:

(3) 46 oz. V-8 bottles (spicy hot)

(4) shots of gin or vodka

(2) shots of Red Hot

1/2 shot lemon juice

1/4 shot Worcestershire sauce

1/2 tsp horseradish

1/2 tsp black course ground pepper

1/4 tsp each garlic salt & celery salt

Directions:

Spread (2) 46 oz. V-8 bottles over three empty bottles.  Add remaining ingredients to each bottle.  Shake.  Enjoy!

[...] Breakfast should always be the foundation for your tailgating festivities and with the Lot 13 favorite, Breakfast Sausage Casserole,  you can’t go wrong.  Be sure to add some vegetables, such as peppers, mushrooms, and tomatoes.  This is a solid item that will set the tone for a long day.  We are also adding assorted fruits to the breakfast menu.  Don’t forget to make some of The Chief’s Bloody Mary’s.
