Below is another recipe from Lot 13 Blog Community member PSUMom. Her apple crisp is quick, easy to transport, and lasts for days….unless you eat it quickly! Enjoy it at your Penn State tailgate in Happy Valley!
Ingredients:
- 6-8 tart apples
- 1/2 tsp cinnamon
- 1/4 c. soft margarine or butter
- 1/4 c brown sugar
- 1/4 c white sugar
- 1/2 c flour
Directions:
- Slice 6-8 tart apples in a pie palte.
- Mix all remaining ingredients with a fork and pour over the apples.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes at 350 degrees.
Serve warm or cold with cool whip or vanilla ice cream.
