Every college kid survives on Ramen Noodles so why not continue that at a tailgate? We’re going into the vault again to borrow a recipe from a Lot 13 community member, Suzanne. Don’t forget to hold the salt!
-2 packages broccoli slaw
-1 cup cashews
-3/4 cup sliced almonds
-1 package Ramen noodles (noodles only!)
Optional:
-1 red pepper chopped
-1 green pepper chopped
-Instead, use 1 package broccoli slaw & 1 head romaine lettuce (but lettuce quickly wilts when combined with dressing – applies if salad not consumed within one day)
Dressing:
-3/4 cup vegetable oil
-1/3 cup apple cider vinegar
-1/2 cup sugar
-1 teaspoon salt
1. Mix together dressing ingredients
2. Depending upon chosen ingredients, mix together lettuce, broccoli slaw, and peppers
3. Right before you serve salad add cashews, almonds, and Ramen noodles
4. Pour dressing over mixture and toss
