Just like they serve in the military! Chipped beef and “gravy” over toast, muffins, or potatoes.
Ingredients:
- 1 (2.5 oz) package sliced dried beef
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons flour
- 1⅓ cup milk
- ½ teaspoon Worcestershire Sauce
- Dash of Pepper
- Toast, English muffins toasted, or sliced potatoes
Instructions:
- Cook dried beef in butter 3 minutes on a skillet
- Stir the flour into butter mixture, then add milk and cook until it thickens. Constantly stir so it doesn’t burn.
- Stir in Worcestershire sauce and pepper and cook additional 1 to 2 min .
- Serve on toast, English muffins, and/or sliced potatoes.
